contract with option to hireKey responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Have a minimum of 2 years accumulated experience proficiency in the system being worked on.
Be capable of performing the following work operations or job activities without supervision or direction:
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in engineering, furnishing, installing, and testing of:
Telecom network cabling including but not limited to:
single-mode fiber, multi-mode fiber, Cat5 cabling, Cat6 cabling, OM3, OM4, Multi-Mode Fiber, DS I cabling, DS3/Coaxial cabling, timing cabling, alarming and monitoring.
Telecom environment infrastructure including but not limited to raised floors, equipment racks and cabinets, equipment anchoring, ladder rack and ironwork, fiber trough, cable management, frame grounding, and fire stopping.
Telecom -48V DC power cabling including but not limited to:
BDCBB to fuse panel, fuse panel to network equipment, fuses, and breakers.
Education and Experience Requirements Minimum of 2 years experience working with various network elements Experience working in a central office location Hands on experience installing and testing various network elements Is considered a Level 3 or Level 4 installer and/or tester Knowledge of working in data center and mobile switching office environments Good Understanding of Telcordia installation standards Sr Cable Installation Tech Recommended Skills Data Centers Engineering Furnishing Fuses Infrastructure Management Telecommunications Apply to this job.
