BA level intern
DescriptionAre you looking for a meaningful internship during your Bachelor's degree program that helps children and their families?Do you want to learn more about how to use your degree and skills towards social justice in daily life? If you answered yes, then JRI is looking for you! JRI's Community Based Services division provides care to ensure that families and their children with significant behavioral, emotional, and mental health needs obtain the services necessary for success in the home, school, and community.
Total Achievement Program (TAP) is a therapeutic after-school and summer program for youth ages 6 to 12 years old in Norton and surrounding towns.
TAP staff work closely with the youths' families, schools, and community agency providers to support each client's educational success as part of a comprehensive treatment team.

Requirements:
Minimum working towards a Bachelor's degree or above in the mental health field/ Human service/ social work field.
Interest in working with children/adolescents is required and familiarity with trauma informed models of treatment preferred.
Good written and oral communication skills are necessary.
Background and driving record checks will be performed.
