Summary:
Must have appropriate training and/or background in a similar settingMust be of good moral character and must not have physical or emotional problems that would interfere with normal daily functioning and the provision of housekeeping servicesResponsible for cleaning residents rooms and residence common areas including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, polishing, mopping, disinfecting, etcDiscards waste into proper containers, and assists with any general housekeeping duties necessaryQUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

The essential duties and responsibilities described below are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the basic functions of this positionWhile every effort has been made to identify the essential functions of the position, it in no way states or implies that these are the only duties you will be required to performThe omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the position if the work is similar, related or is an essential function of the position1Promote the mission and core values of the Residence and LCB Senior Living to residents, visitors, co-workers and the surrounding community2As an associate you are expected to have an active role in growing community occupancy by representing and interacting positively with potential residents, family members and professionals3Thoroughly cleaning the bathrooms; toilet, vanity, sink, shower, shower seat and floor with cleaning solution4Cleans kitchen areas completely; wipes counters and under objects, mops kitchen floors5Empty wastebaskets and replace bags6Dusting and polishing all surfaces7Wipe off all surfaces; windowsills, woodwork and counters8Cleaning carpets including vacuuming, shampooing, deodorizing, disinfecting, etc9Cleaning all common areas and common bathrooms on a daily basis, and as often as needed10Maintains housekeeping carts in clean, orderly manner11Any other assigned duties12Attends required in-service training and orientations13Removing, folding and returning bed linens14Wash and fold linens15Fill other positions as needed when someone is out16Cleans and washes windows 17Cleans and dusts blinds 18General pick-up outside as needed19Other duties as requestedPHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:
Good physical and mental healthFinger and hand dexterity to handle and manipulate instruments and equipmentVisual and auditory acuityMust be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five (25) lbs.
