Qualifications:
Associates Degree or higher preferredPrevious administrative assistant experience preferredAbility to multi-task and work in a fast paced environmentAbility to work with Microsoft Office, Excel and finance software programsSuch alternatives to the above qualifications as the Principal may find appropriate and acceptablePerformance
Responsibilities:
Responds to correspondence, writes letters, responds to reports, notices, and recommendations.
Monitor staff attendance to help obtain and coordinate substitute teachers.
Maintains student/staff database and performs tasks associated with quarterly state reporting.
Maintains a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files.
Places and receives telephone calls and records messages.
Manages purchase orders and maintains orders and supplies.
Performs bookkeeping tasks associated with the specific position to include, but not limited to, student activities and the unrestricted gift account to prepare reports and spreadsheets.
Collecting and preparing deposits of the funds.
Maintains a schedule of appointments and makes arrangements for conferences and interviews.
Welcomes visitors and arranges for their comfort and screens unexpected callers in accordance with school policy.
Maintains confidentiality of knowledge in regards to students, parents, and staff; remains professional.
Responsible for all other tasks assigned by the building principal.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
