Inventory Assortment Manager

Position Responsibilities:
Drive thought leadership and build strong relationships with the inventory team and various cross-functional teams, to include product, sales and marketing
Identify and address merchandise opportunities in specific stores by analyzing sales and inventory performance as well as space productivity.
Use data and reporting tools to deliver insightful, compelling and effective analyses
Provide proactive analysis of business conditions and drivers, promotions, category trends and dynamics, as well as emerging segment trends.
Perform statistical analysis of SKUs based on past sales history, market area, competitive situations, etc.
Perform ad hoc analysis for specific store remix requests as well as new stores
Manage the development of store clusters, seasonal assortment plans and location plans.
Education:
Four Year college degree and 3-5 years of experience, or the equivalent amount of training and experience.
Knowledge and Experience:
Ability to guide a team and delegate responsibilities
Demonstrates the ability to select, analyze and integrate, customer and category insights to deliver business solutions
Demonstrates the knowledge and application of category management principles and processes to deliver value-added category solutions
Ability to synthesize a holistic sales story from multiple data sources and understand complex and multi-faceted trends
Possess analytical and critical thinking skills - analytic curiosity - as well as creative thinking and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with a group of cross functional internal and external team members
Ability to work in a matrix environment where priorities change rapidly and tight deadlines exist
Project management experience
Possess strong presentation and communication skills
Strong analytical, collaborative and consultative abilities
Highly skilled in Excel and/or SQL experience, MS Office
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
