Overview

Responsible for the Shift operation, maintenance, and repair of the Norton central utility plant and tank farm. Monitors plant conditions and respond to alarms for building systems, utilities, process equipment and warehouse/storage areas. Maintains logs and required documentation as applicable. Aids in the development of Standard Operating Procedures and lock out tag out plans. This position could be responsible for covering all shifts on an as needed basis.
Summary of Key Responsibilities
Support of plant operations during the shift including operations and maintenance of utilities systems, tank farm, and process equipment
Responsible for alarm remediation and trouble call triage
Position will be heavily involved with the start-up of the various systems Norton Process Site
Ensure a safe work environment is maintained through adherence to environmental and health safety guidelines and policies
Support installation, repair, and troubleshooting for a wide range of equipment and instrumentation used for all functions of a cGMP facility
Perform scheduled, corrective, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing support equipment
Ensure timely review of records and reviewing work to ensure it is performed accurately and in compliance
Responsible for the operational readiness of the plant working closely with peers insuring deficiencies are resolved and with completeness
To support all Facilities related activities at Norton plant site.
Identify and assist with implementing opportunities for continuous improvement around the plant systems and operations
Perform scheduled, demand, new and emergency maintenance on support equipment.
Maintain equipment records, instrument tagging,
Assist Engineering staff in troubleshooting complex systems
Qualifications
High school diploma with a minimum of 4?8 years of related experience.
Extensive knowledge of building utilities systems
Wastewater treatment license (or ability to obtain)
Boiler operator's license (Desirable but not required)
The ability to work at all Alnylam Massachusetts site locations/facilities.
Carry a mobile phone/ device
Valid driver's license
Perform 'on-call' coverage and or rotating shift coverage (nights weekends) to support operations as required.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Works on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgement and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations.
Minimum requirements are excellent writing, interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
Previous experience in a cGMP environment is a plus.
Proven ability to manage simultaneous tasks, work under pressure, track and monitor progress of multiple projects and follow through to ensure goal achievement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
